An Autumn at Everry town
ROLE - Lead Artist
For our take on the theme "It never ends" we wanted the theme to be more narrative centric rather than gameplay centric. The story outlines a serious issue in current society with child abductions creating unsafe environments for children all around the world. Walk through the story of the tragic Kool Kids Club, slowly uncovering their fate. Ultimately the issue will come to light showing how no matter the precautions taken, these terrible acts and the trauma and pain inflicted on the unknowing friends and family will never end.
This was a submission for ZenoJam2021, taking place over 3 days. The team's goal was to create something both Story and Environment Heavy. I was responsible for creating 12 screens for the player to explore, additional assets, designing and co-writing the narrative alongside Daniel. In the gallery below you can see a varied selection of the Parallax environments I made for the project.

Within the game project I created 12 environment screens to flesh out the location of Everry. I worked with a technical artist to create wind streams, floating leaves and a gradually moving skybox for the game.
